Class officers serve an important role in keeping classes connected with fellow alumni for networking and social events, as well as staying connected to Trinity.

In addition, class officers collaborate with the Office of Alumni Relations to plan their class’s Reunion. These positions include: president, vice president, and secretary. These are elected positions, by the class via a nomination and voting process, which are held in the spring prior to the end of the current term. Terms are for five years, beginning on July 1 in the year elections are held. The vice president is awarded to the runner-up in the election of the president.

All class officers are asked to fulfill the following three main responsibilities during their five-year term:
1. Serve as a leader of your class’s Reunion committee, working in collaboration with staff from the Office of Alumni Relations and the Trinity College Fund.
2. Maintain active contact with other class leaders, including the president, vice president, secretary, and class agents to offer support with the responsibilities for their volunteer role.
3. Maintain a five-year giving history during your term, with a donation that is meaningful to you. There is no specific amount required.
